Role Overview:

As a Small & Medium Category Drone Pilot, you will be responsible for executing drone operations in sectors such as agriculture, land mapping, inspection, surveillance, and logistics. You will work on a project-to-project basis, providing flexibility while being part of a professional and fast-growing UAV network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate rotary or fixed-wing drones up to 25kg
• Conduct pre-flight checks, mission planning, and post-flight reports
• Coordinate with ground teams and clients on-site
• Ensure compliance with DGCA and local UAV operation regulations
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance during field operations

Eligibility Criteria:

• Valid Remote Pilot Certificate (Small or Medium Category)
• Hands-on experience with drone flight in field or commercial environments
• Willingness to travel for assignments across districts/states
• Familiarity with mission planning software and GPS-based operations
• Professional attitude, punctuality, and communication skills

Martianis Aviation is hiring Drone Pilot Instructors on a monthly salary basis to lead and deliver high-impact training programs in UAV operations. This is a full-time or semi-regular position for professionals passionate about teaching, mentoring, and shaping India’s next generation of certified drone pilots.

Position Overview:

As a Drone Pilot Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting classroom and practical flight training sessions for Small and Medium Category drones, aligned with DGCA regulations. You will play a key role in delivering courses at our main RPTO centers and upcoming village-level DRONEports, with a strong focus on inclusion and rural outreach—especially through our free training initiatives for women.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theoretical sessions on UAV systems, DGCA CAR, airspace rules, and safety protocols
• Conduct hands-on flight training with real-time student evaluations
• Support curriculum development, exam prep, and simulation-based learning
• Supervise student flights, log hours, and ensure compliance with training SOPs
• Mentor students from diverse backgrounds, including rural areas and underrepresented groups

Requirements:

• Valid DGCA Remote Pilot Instructor Certificate (Small or Medium Category)
• Demonstrated experience in drone flight instruction (50+ flight hours preferred)
• Knowledge of both rotary and fixed-wing drone systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel locally or relocate to regional training hubs
